Nuestro Banco was certified as a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI)
by the United States Department of the Treasury
Raleigh, NC, June 9, 2008. On May 16, 2008 Nuestro Banco was certified as a Community Development financial institution (CDFI) by the United States Department of the Treasury. Certification as a CDFI is a designation given to a select group of financial intermediaries nationwide that have a primary mission of promoting community development.
The CDFI Fund’s mission is to expand the capacity of financial institutions to provide credit, capital and financial services to underserved populations and communities in the United States.
