New Hispanic Bank Opens in Garner
David Flores, President and CEO of Nuestro Banco,
North Carolina’s first Hispanic chartered de-novo bank,
announced today that the bank has completed its regulatory requirements
and opens for business in the town of Garner on Saturday September
22nd at 1408 Garner Station Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27603 with
a Grand Opening Community Festival.
In addition a Ribbon Cutting ceremony will be held at the bank
on Wednesday, September 26th at 11 am. To meet the needs of the
Hispanic community, and the broader community, Nuestro
Banco has designed and built a unique family friendly
6,000 square foot facility.
Serving the Hispanic Community
The banks’ vision is to, “Create a financially
successful and socially responsible Regional Hispanic Community
Bank that provides the products, services, and culturally sensitive
environment that helps Hispanic consumers and small businesses
grow and achieve their dreams”.
Nuestro Banco is prepared to meet the specific
needs of the large and growing Hispanic population, as well
as the needs of the broader community thru:
- Its bilingual and bicultural staff – patient, nurturing,
and caring
- Full range of banking products and services designed to meet
their specific needs
- Extended hours to accommodate their works schedules - Monday
through Friday from 10am to 7pm, Saturday from 11am to 5pm,
and a full service ATM.
- Financial education programs - to help you grow
The Branch Manager, Jesse Espinosa, knows that Hispanics come
to the bank as a family. Therefore the bank has been designed
to be warm and welcoming, with lots of seating areas, coffee
will be available for family members while they wait, an LCD
TV, and a children’s play area. “We want our
customers and their families to feel at home in Nuestro
Banco.”
Social Responsibility
Our mission statement reflects the social responsibility that
we have within the community at this time in our history:
“To assist in accelerating the integration of Hispanics, within
the communities that we serve, into the banking system and their local communities”.
Nuestro Banco takes this responsibility seriously and understands
the importance of “trust, deep community involvement, and service” in
building long term relationships between the bank, its customers, and the community.
Nuestro Banco wants to ensure that the local community views
the bank as a trusted partner and resource and envision ourselves as a vibrant
part of the community in which the “trust of the customers and community
will be our greatest asset.”
“This holistic approach to community banking is what will differentiate Nuestro
Banco from our competitors and allows us the privilege of serving
this community”.
